Waypoints
Waypoints are markers that represent a camera view which you can create and save in your USD Stage. You can use these markers at any time to easily navigate back to a particular camera view. The Waypoints feature is provided by two Extensions: Waypoints and Waypoint Manager. These Extensions are turned on by default.
What’s in a Waypoint?
Waypoints store more than the location and orientation of a camera view. Everything about a particular shot is stored, camera settings, render mode, render settings…everything! By saving Waypoints to your Stage, you can easily store and save your favorite shots. Later, you can view them and even play through them like a slideshow.
