Overview#
The Omniverse Unity connector enables Unity users to export their 3D scene to USD for the NVIDIA Omniverse Platform and any application in the OpenUSD Ecosystem.
Important
Unity has developed OpenUSD packages for Import and Export support including a C# USD SDK. Learn more here.
The Unity Connector has the following high-level features:
Export USD files
Import USD files
Unidirectional LiveSync from Unity Editor to Omniverse App Supports structure where Prefab is divided into multiple USDs and referenced by Payload.
Export/Import: Materials support MDL (OmniPBR/OmniGlass) or UsdPreviewSurface.
Export: Prefab to Payload.
Export: Physics support.
