204.1 Hotfix#

This release contains bug fixes for materials, instanced meshes, and camera transforms.

Note

204.1 is the last planned update for Unreal Editor 5.2

Fixed#

  • Fix hardware raytracing shadow issue, VisibleInRayTracing is now tied to the shadow casting primvar attribute

  • Fix crash when an invalid OmniverseStageActor is saved in a level when closing the editor

  • Fix crash in 5.3 when a user-created material asset is displayed in the Content Browser

  • Fix crash when loading MDL function “mdlimporter_summed_perlin_noise”

  • Fix distilling MDL with unset parameters with no default values defined (SimPBR)

  • Fix missing point instancers if the prototype prim is invisible

  • Tweak the min/max cull distance for instanced meshes imported from point instancers

  • Fix instance transform when importing point instancers

  • Fix exporting level sequence with spawned, attached components

  • Fix exporting camera transform (regression)

Improved#

  • Add “Refresh Reference” and “Refresh Payload” in layer editor

  • Remove source workaround for USDIncludesEnd.h

  • Update Omniverse USD Resolver Plugin to 1.42.3

  • Update Omniverse Client Library to 2.47.1
