Batch Export#

Overview#

Use Batch to export Revit models from a selected folder. The batch dialog uses the same settings as Settings.

Import a saved JSON configuration or configure the tabs before you start the export. See JSON Settings File for the JSON structure.

Usage#

Select Omniverse > Batch.
Optional: Select Import Json to load a saved configuration.
Select or verify an input folder that contains Revit models.
Select or verify a local output folder.
Set or verify Folder Depth to include required subfolders.
Enter or verify text in View To Find to match 3D view names.
Configure or verify the remaining export options.
Select Start Export.

The exporter checks view names for an exact match, prefix match, suffix match, and substring match. Each matching view produces a separate USD file.

Additional Notes#

Revit upgrades older models when necessary, but the batch process does not save the upgraded source models.
The exporter suppresses common Revit dialogs. Some dialogs can still require a response.
