How USD Layers Work

Layers are one of several arcs used to compose a USD stage. Make sure to familiarize yourself with USD strength ordering and LIVRPS. For this concept car example, additional layers may be found in the Authored/SubUSDs folder. Each layer corresponds to a different authoring change that was made to the project USD file. In a typical workflow, these layers can be authored by different people or teams. Keeping changes to distinct layers creates an easy way to organize the stage and streamline parallel workflows.
