  • Animation Tools - Applications can abort during omni.anim.behavior execution when carb::clock cannot measure CPU frequency on AArch64 Linux. [OMPE-99082]

  • Fabric Scene Delegate - With the Fabric Scene Delegate enabled, changing material:binding on a GeomSubset inside a PointInstancer prototype does not update the render; the viewport continues to display the previously bound material. [OMPE-111554]

  • Kit SDK - Content Browser path navigation selects Add new connection instead of the intended directory when multiple entries share the same path. [OMPE-109445]

  • Kit SDK - Custom category items in the omni.kit.viewport.menubar.display menu are re-added on every menu rebuild and never removed on deregister, causing duplicate viewport menubar entries. [OMPE-107962]

  • Kit SDK - Python upgraded to 3.12.14+nv3 in Carbonite, with expat upgraded to 2.8.4 and OpenSSL upgraded to 3.5.8. [OMPE-109100]

Security#

  • Foundation - install_package.py packman bootstrap does not validate ZIP archive member paths during extraction, allowing a malicious or compromised archive to write files outside the intended output directory; extension templates generated from the bootstrap inherit the same gap. [OMPE-91500]

  • RTX - Application crashes with a SIGSEGV in rtx::resourcemanager::getTextureFromResource when the SDG pipeline registers an external texture during tile rendering. [OMPE-103654]

  • RTX - RTX rendering can hang when lens flare post-processing creates aperture effects. [OMPE-101442]

Improved#

  • RTX - Upgraded OpenSSL to 3.5.8 in omni.pointcloud.streaming.potree. [OMPE-112657]

  • RTX - Upgraded xerces-c from 3.2.0 to 3.3.0 in omni.usd.fileformat.e57. [OMPE-112651]

  • RTX - Updates CloudXR to 6.2.0 in omni.kit.xr.cloudxr. [OMPE-108695]

  • RTX - GLib in omni.gpu_foundation is updated to remove the libmount dependency, eliminating the bundled util-linux 2.39.2 component on Linux. [OMPE-108440]

  • RTX - Upgraded idna to 1.1.0 and url to 2.5.8 in omni.hsscclient by updating hsscclient-core to 1.1.2. [OMPE-106722]

  • RTX - c-blosc in omni.ujitso.default now uses the nozlib variant, linking against system-provided zlib 1.3.2 instead of the previously bundled zlib 1.2.13. [OMPE-106312]

  • RTX - GStreamer (1.28.6), ZLib (1.3.2), and Libsoup (3.7.1) are updated in omni.gpu_foundation. [OMPE-105913]

  • RTX - c-ares dependency in carb.grpcdatastore upgraded to 1.34.8. [OMPE-104269]
