Network Requirements#
Overview#
Connecting to and streaming Kit-based applications can be configured in two ways, either via the Public Internet or via Private Streaming using the Azure Private Endpoint. Enterprises can select either one that meets their requirements and security posture, however both cannot be enabled at the same time.
Typical example use cases are:
Private Streaming: A customer that is using the service within their own Enterprise and not making it available with outside users.
Public Streaming: An Independent Software Vendor (ISV) or Global System Integrator (GSI) which has integrated Omniverse on DGX Cloud into their application(s) and making the service available to all their customers, regardless of location.
Important Configuration Notes#
Private Streaming#
During onboarding, the Omniverse on DGX Cloud onboarding team will work with customers to establish the Azure Private Endpoint link between their Azure Subscription and NVIDIAs. If a customer chooses to further extend network security by adding an Access Control List (ACL), TCP/UDP Ports 5004-5014 are required to be open and available.
Public Streaming#
When using Public Streaming, Omniverse on DGX Cloud uses TCP/UDP Ports 10000:20000 from a specific cluster Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) range. This CIDR range is provided during customer onboarding.
