Cameras

Cameras in Omniverse Kit based apps do their best to emulate real world cameras and their functionality is as similar as possible.

Using Cameras (Video)

Camera Properties

Camera properties are set in the property panel of a selected camera. Note however that camera properties can be overridden globally via the render settings camera properties if desired.

Aperture Properties

Usage

Units

Aperture (Horizontal)

Emulates sensor/film width on a camera
Millimeters (or, tenths of a world unit)

Aperture Offset (Horizontal) *

Offsets Resolution/Film gate horizontally.
Millimeters (or, tenths of a world unit)

Aperture (Vertical)

Emulates sensor/film height on a camera.
Millimeters (or, tenths of a world unit)

Aperture Offset (Vertical) *

Offsets Resolution/Film gate vertically.

Shutter Properties

Usage

Units

Shutter Open *

Used with Motion Blur to control blur amount, increased values delay
shutter opening.
