On the Deployment page:
Name your Deployment.
Select your Service account type.
Select the Zone you want to deploy to.
Select the Machine Type as a g4-standard-48 with NVIDIA RTX Pro 6000 GPU.
Select the Boot Disk. (We recommend a 512GB or larger disk.)
Select next for Networking.
Click the Deploy button.
Open the Remote Desktop Connection client on your local device and paste in the Public IP Address to connect to your instance.
Linux VMI#
Linux machine images on Google Cloud require 3rd party software to support 3D accelerated remote desktop connections. Using Cendio’s ThinLinc is a confirmed and tested option, however many alternative options are also available.
Install the ThinLinc server on the virtual machine image.
Install the ThinLinc client on your local workstation.
Use the client to connect to the virtual machine using the VMI’s Public IP Address.
