Functions Summary:

collect_selection	Write a self-contained USD (subtree + bound materials + textures) per selected subtree.
dedupe_selection_paths	Removes descendant paths nested under a selected ancestor, matching EditMenu delete dedupe.
get_instance	Returns the singleton instance of the collect extension.
