Settings Provided by the Extension#

exts.”omni.kit.commands”.crashReportHistoryCount#

  • Default Value: 10

  • Description: Number of most recent command history entries to store in the crash report.

exts.”omni.kit.commands”.maxUndoStackSize#

  • Default Value: 10000

  • Description: Maximum number of entries kept on the undo and redo stacks. Each entry can hold references to large objects (USD stages, anonymous Sdf layers, …), so leaving the stacks unbounded will steadily grow process memory in a long editing session. When the limit is exceeded, the oldest entries are evicted first (FIFO). Set to 0 (or a negative value) to disable the limit.

exts.”omni.kit.commands”.groupOpenWarningSeconds#

  • Default Value: 300.0

  • Description: How long (in seconds) a command group may stay open before omni.kit.undo logs a one-shot warning naming the begin_group() call site. A group left open this long has usually been abandoned - end_group() was never reached - which silently nests every subsequent command inside it for the rest of the session. Nothing is closed automatically, because a legitimate drag or a begin_edit()/end_edit() pair can hold a group open for a while - the warning names the call site so the missing end_group() can be found and fixed. The threshold is read once, when the group is opened. Set to 0 (or a negative value) to disable the diagnostic, which also skips capturing the call site.
