Omniverse Enterprise customers may choose either version depending on their deployment preference. - The **Omniverse Workstation Launcher** offers a complete experience and does not require IT management for application installation or updates. Of note, the Omniverse Workstation Launcher requires network connectivity and an NVIDIA account. - The **IT Managed Launcher** is designed for use on an air-gapped network and does not require network connectivity or an NVIDIA account. Virtualization Deployments --------------------------------- Kit based apps (like |composer|, |presenter|, etc.) can be run in a virtualized environment using NVIDIA's vGPU product. The benefits of a virtualized environment are: - Multiple GPUs can be scaled beyond 2 GPUs that are common in a workstation - Fast loading of large datasets as Nucleus the VDI hosts are hosted in a common DataCenter environment. - Security as sensitive data is kept within a secure datacenter and only pixels are shared. - Ability to run large models on a laptop or other thin client device that does not support Nvidia GPUs using VDI. The `Virtual Deployment Guide <../../prod_deployment/prod_deployment/overview.html>`__ provides an overview of how to set up a vGPU environment capable of hosting Omniverse.
