Alias version 2021 and lower are not supported with this beta version.

Tessellation performance has been implemented as a Beta level feature in the Alias Connector. There is a known weakness where exporting data from Alias takes longer time. This can occur when exporting very large and complex Alias structures to USD. A performance improvement is in the works for a future version of the connector.

Names in USD may only contain alphanumeric characters and “_” [underscore], therefore all other special characters and umlauts are replaced by their hexadecimal representation.
