Maya Connectors
=============================================================================================================================================================================================================================


We now have 2 flavors of the Maya Connectors.  The Maya Connector that has been around for the last few years will now be known as Maya (Legacy) Connector.  The Maya (Legacy) Connector is not compatible with Autodesk Maya USD. 
The new Maya Connector will be called Maya (Native) Connector.  The main difference is that Maya (Native) is now compatible with Autodesk Maya USD Plug-in.  Please read the :doc:`Maya Connector FAQ <maya/FAQ>` for additional differences between each connector.
