Omniverse View version 2022.1 and up
Turntable is an interactive control too which allows an object or objects to be rotated 360 degrees in either direction. This provides a rotating view of the selected object(s) to examine how the object appears in the current lighting/environment.
Turntable provides a 360-degree a flyover of one or more selected objects. The camera and scene controls are able to be used as the turntable is spinning, and objects may be interactively scrubbed 360 degrees - clockwise or counter-clockwise. Additionally, the turntable can play in a loop and at speeds of normal (1x), 2x, 4x, and 8x, and you can use the camera controls to dolly, move, orbit or look as the turntable spins.
From the camera visor at the bottom of the viewport:
Select the object/objects in the viewport that you want to place onto the turntable.
Click the blue check mark to add selected items; click the ‘x’ to escape and start over.
You may use the camera visor controls to dolly, move, orbit or look at the objects to gain a different perspective of the scene.
Use the scrubbing bar to move the turntable to a fixed position, or change the rate of spin (1x, 2x, 4x, 8x).
To quit Turntable, click the X on the right side of the scrubbing bar, then hit ‘Esc’ to de-select the objects.
