Viewport Controls¶
This document describes the user interface (UI) controls within the Viewport:

You can configure two components of the Viewport with Viewport settings:

Camera Settings¶

Resets all camera settings to their original values |
Camera Speed |
Sets the speed of the camera when navigating in the Viewport |
Camera Speed Scaler |
Controls navigation speed |
Adaptive Camera Speed |
Normalizes the camera speed by its current sphere of interest |
Show Speed on Interaction |
Shows the current speed when navigating the Viewport |
Gamepad Camera Control |
Allows you to control the camera with a gamepad |
Stop Keyboard On Mouse Up |
Stops walk mode when you release the right mouse button |
Enable Inertia Mode |
Enables inertia on camera movements |
Camera Inertia |
Controls the inertia of camera movements |
Enable Rotational Smoothing |

Rotational Smoothing Scale |
Sets the scaling factor for the time applied to rotations |
Rotational Smoothing Always |
Applies rotational smoothing outside of walk mode |
Enable Gestures |
Enables gesture fall off for camera manipulation |
Viewport Settings¶

Sets the distance from the camera where the grid lines fade out |

Sets the color for selected entities |

Sets the size of the selection box |

Sets the color of the bounding box |
Gizmo Line Width |
Sets the width of the gizmo outline |
Gizmo Constant Scale |
Scales gizmos using this constant value |
Gizmo Global Scale |
Scales gizmos using this global value |
Gizmo Min FadeOut |
Sets the distance from the camera where gizmos* appear at full size (Gizmos farther away scale down until the Gizmo Max FadeOut distance where they are no longer visible.) |

Sets the distance from the camera where gizmos* no longer appear |
Set FPS Limit |
Limits the Viewport rendering framerate to the specified FPS Limit |
FPS Limit with Busy Loop |
Limits the Viewport rendering framerate with a busy loop |

Sets the framerate in frames per second (FPS) if Set FPS Limit is checked |
Render Resolution Multiplier |
Upsamples or downsamples your Viewport relative to the specified Render Resolution |
Aperture Policy |
Sets the simulated aperture behavior |
Render Resolution |
Sets the base resolution rendered in the Viewport |
Fill Viewport |
Fills the viewport with the scene |
